Verification of FAFSA

Once your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application has been submitted to Campbell University, the Department of Education may identify your application for a process called verification. In order for Campbell University’s Office of Financial Aid to determine your eligibility for federal student aid, you must complete the verification process.

The purpose of the verification process is to validate the accuracy of your FAFSA data. Campbell University is working with the School Servicing Center (SSC) to help you complete the verification process.

  • The School Servicing Center (SSC) will send an email to the email address you listed on your FAFSA , and/or your Campbell University email address. This email will instruct you on what information you need to submit to the School Servicing Center.
  • Watch for emails from verification@SSCwp.org or echosign@echosign.com with instructions on what you need to do to complete the process. You are only asked for information we need from you. Please follow the instructions carefully. All information must be submitted to our School Servicing Center (SSC); do NOT submit to the University.
  • You will complete most or all of your verification by using the online verification interview on the “Student” tab at www.SSCwp.org. You may also upload any required documents online.
  • If you have questions, need to track your verification status, or submit items you should visit www.SSCwp.org.

Note: Campbell University will not have verification status or issue resolution to share with you. The Student Servicing Center (SSC) should be your point of contact for any inquiries or need for clarification. The Office of Financial Aid will only be notified once your verification is complete. Financial aid awards will only be processed upon verification completion.
