To ensure compliance with the new Affordable Care Act, Campbell University is requiring all full-time, main campus, undergraduate students to provide proof of insurance coverage or enroll in Campbell University’s student domestic insurance plan.
All full-time, main campus, undergraduate students are required to complete the Waiver or enroll in the domestic policy by the deadline date. If you do not complete the Waiver or sign up for insurance by the deadline date, you will be automatically enrolled in the Campbell University policy. Your student account will be charged accordingly. Student Health Insurance will be purchased for you on February 1, 2017; therefore, charges applied to the student account are non-refundable.

To enroll in the domestic plan, please click on “Enroll in Student Health Insurance” and enroll in the plan. Your information will be processed by our insurance provider. You will then receive an email confirmation that you are enrolled and your student account will be charged accordingly.Enroll in student health insurance
If you are covered by a personal policy and wish to complete a Waiver, click on “Waive Student Health Insurance” and follow the steps to compete your Waiver request.
Be sure to have your insurance card available as you will be required to provide your insurance information. Upon completion of the waiver, you will receive an initial email indicating the waiver is pending. Our insurance provider will review the waiver request and determine if your plan meets requirements of the Affordable Care Act and includes acceptable coverage in North Carolina. If so, the student will receive a second email confirmation of approval and the charge will be removed from the student account.

Graduate and Professional
If you are a graduate or professional level student and would like to purchase the Campbell University policy please click on “Enroll in Student Health Insurance” and sign up. Your student account will be billed for the charge. The portal will be open December 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017 to enroll.

Effective fall 2010, international students are required to purchase Hospitalization/Sickness Insurance. International students will be automatically enrolled into the insurance plan by the Business Office. The cost of the insurance coverage will be charged to your student account. The Business Office will remit payment to the insurance company on your behalf and contact you when insurance cards become available.
