Submit a waiver online.
The portal is open each year from July 1 – August 31 for the fall and December 1 – January 31 for the spring.
Instructions and additional information will be sent to students via their Campbell University student email address.
Undergraduate Students
Campbell University requires all full-time, Main Campus Undergraduate students to either submit a waiver with proof of existing coverage or enroll in the student insurance plan each academic year.
International students are required to enroll in the Campbell University insurance policy.
A charge for insurance will be billed to student accounts each fall and will not be removed without the submission of an approved waiver through the online portal. This portal is facilitated by the insurance company. Submitted waivers are verified and confirmed by the insurance company. Students who fail to submit an approved waiver will be automatically enrolled in and held financially responsible for the plan.
Emails are sent to all students via their Campbell University email address notifying them to waive or enroll in the coverage. Reminder emails are only sent to students who have not taken action in the portal and are not to be disregarded.
**No waivers will be accepted once the portal has closed.**
Waivers are to be completed annually and an approved waiver is valid for both semesters. Insurance charges are not removed automatically. A report will be pulled and processed once per week to remove charges from accounts with approved waivers.
Students without existing coverage, international students, and other eligible students who wish to participate in the student insurance plan must enroll themselves online by August 31 to avoid processing delays. This is an annual plan but will be billed per semester to the student account. Coverage will be effective August 1 through July 31.
Students who begin in the spring semester will have a charge on their account for insurance and must either waive or enroll by January 31. They must also complete this process the following fall semester as we enter a new insurance year.
