Graduation Checklist

  1. Meet with your academic advisor to review your graduation eligibility
    Review your course credits, degree plan, and graduation eligibility

  2. Apply for graduation
    Take the first step to graduation by applying for graduation online

  3. Request to participate only (not graduate) in commencement under special consideration
    To qualify for the “6-hour rule” special consideration, undergraduate candidates must first complete a graduation application and next complete a ‘Request to Participate in Commencement’ form which is located in the Registrar’s Office or with a Campus Graduation Auditor. Graduate students need to speak with their Program Director to see if they would qualify.

  4. Complete the Senior Survey
    Complete the survey that will be distributed to each senior at Campbell University by the Office of  Career Services.

  5. Order your cap, gown and hood (If applicable )

  6. Check that your name and participation is correct on the Application Received List.

  7. Check with the Business Office to be sure all tuition & fees are paid
    Student account should be fully paid to avoid financial holds that may halt the release of your diploma.

  8. Review the notes on the Graduation Brief that took place on October 24th.
  9.  Check for the logistics for your ceremony.

NOTE:  Any student who graduated in August and has not participated in a ceremony before the August conferral date, will be given the opportunity to participate in the December ceremony.  You may order your cap/gown, any announcements,  rings or other associate merchandise in the Fall with the December Grad Fair (October 24 from 10am – 6pm). The December Ceremony will be December 14, 2019 at the John W. Pope Convocation Center in Buies Creek, NC.
