Preparing for Graduation

To help you prepare for graduation, we share tasks and events to help you smoothly transition from a Campbell student to a Campbell Alumnus.

Important Dates

This is the information released by the Registrar’s Office for May 2024 Graduation cycle and ceremony.

  • February 7: The May 2024 graduation application cycle opens by 5pm.
  • March 15: Initial application deadline, all applications after this date will be considered LATE.
  • March 18 and 19: Bookstore Grad Fair from 11:00am to 6:00pm in the Bazaar Spirit Shop on campus in Buies Creek. You may contact the Bazaar Spirit Shop for more information. 
  • April 15: FINAL deadline to apply by noon to be eligible for May Graduation regardless of participation in the ceremony.
  • April 24: All external transcripts for transfer credit, any degree applicable paperwork, course substitution forms, waivers etc. must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by this date for processing.
  • April 28: Baccalaureate Service 4:00pm in Butler Chapel
  • Week of May 9-11: Ceremonies will stretch across multiple ceremonies from May 9-11th depending upon degree, college and campus location. Once logistics for all of the ceremonies are finalized an informational email will be sent to those students who have applied and posted to the Graduation Ceremonies page. Any student with a Bursar’s Office hold will not be allowed to participate. Please contact the Bursar’s Office to resolve any holds on your account.
  • May 15: Final official transcripts with degrees will be ready via Campbell University’s Parchment website. Official transcripts ordered before this date have no guarantee of showing final degree status.

All official communication from our office will go to your official Campbell University issued email address. If you have not set this up or do not have it forwarded to the email account you check regularly, please contact the IT Services Help Desk for how-to instructions.
