Graduation Checklist

  1. Meet with your academic advisor to review your graduation eligibility
    Review your course credits, degree plan, and graduation eligibility

  2. Apply for graduation
    Take the first step to graduation by applying for graduation online

  3. Check out the important dates
    This includes several deadlines of the upcoming graduation cycle.

  4. Request to participate only (not graduate) in commencement under special consideration (not applicable for August)
    To qualify for the “6-hour rule” special consideration, undergraduate candidates must first complete a graduation application and next complete a ‘Request to Participate in Commencement’ form which is posted on the Apply for Graduation page. Graduate students need to speak with their Program Director to see if they would qualify.

  5. Complete the Senior Survey
    Complete the survey that will be distributed to seniors at Campbell University by the Office of  Career Services.

  6. Order your cap, gown and hood (If applicable, for participation in ceremony). If you have not purchased your cap and gown from the CU Bazaar (located in the Student Union) please contact them immediately. They are open Thursday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm and they will be open at 7:45am on Saturday for any student needing to purchase regalia. If you are needing doctoral regalia, you MUST contact them no later than, Thursday, May 7th to let them know what is needed as doctoral regalia is specialized. It is not stocked at The Bazaar and must be transferred to that store.   7. Check that your name and participation is correct on the Application Received List.

  8. Ensure that your student account balance is paid in full. 
    Your student account can be viewed in TouchNet via your self-service portal.

  9.  Check for the logistics for your ceremony.
