What are Resident Chaplains?
Resident Chaplains (RCs) are upper classmen or graduate students of Campbell University who work in the Office of Spiritual Life and alongside Residence Life to provide a pastoral presence and pastoral leadership in every freshman residence hall on campus.
RCs are trained in pastoral care and counseling skills and offer a private and confidential resource for students in the halls where they live. RCs also provide spiritual growth and faith development in each hall through Bible studies, small groups, involvement in campus ministry events, and service projects.
Resident Chaplains are present in each hall to share life in community with freshmen, helping them adjust to the rigors of life at Campbell, and to help them grow into mature and responsible members of the Campbell community.
