Preparing for Graduation

To help you prepare for graduation, we share tasks and events to help you smoothly transition from a Campbell student to a Campbell Alumnus.

Important Dates

This is the information released by the Registrar’s Office for December 2025 Graduation cycle and ceremony.

  • Mid-September: Tentative opening date of December 2025 graduation application cycle by 5pm.
  • October 13: Initial application deadline, all applications after this date will be considered LATE. All students expecting to receive a diploma must submit a graduation application to be properly processed. 
  • October 27-28: The CU Bookstore will be hosting a Grad Fair October 27th from 10:00am to 4:00pm and October 28 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm in The Bazaar in the Oscar N. Harris Student Union on Main Campus in Buies Creek. For more information please see the CU Bookstore on Facebook or Instagram.
  • November 21: FINAL deadline to apply to eligible for December 2025 Graduation.
  • December 1: All external transcripts for transfer credit, any degree applicable paperwork, course substitution forms, waivers etc. must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office before this date for processing.
  • December 13: December graduation and ceremony. August graduates who have not participated previously in a ceremony will be invited to participate in the December 2025 ceremony. Any student with a Bursar’s Office hold will not be allowed to participate. Please contact the Bursar’s Office to resolve any holds on your account. Logistics are still being finalized in regards to the ceremony time and location. Once finalized and email will be sent to candidates and posted to this website. 
  • December 17: Final official transcripts with degrees will be ready via Campbell University’s Parchment website. Official transcripts ordered before this date have no guarantee of showing final degree status. Parchment Diploma Services will be available with diplomas being processed to their CU email and the Validity Registry will be updated with the student’s degree information on our Degree Verification page. 

Communication

All official communication from our office will go to your official Campbell University issued email address. If you have not set this up or do not have it forwarded to the email account you check regularly, please contact the IT Services Help Desk for how-to instructions.
