Placement of compliant political signs

Per North Carolina General Assembly Statutes. section 136-32 pertaining to the placement of compliant political signs, individuals or groups must obtain permission from any property owner of a residence, business or religious institution facing the right-of-way where a sign would be erected.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, Campbell University is strictly prohibited by the IRS from directly or indirectly endorsing or participating in any political campaign on behalf of, or in opposition to, candidates for elected political office.

Therefore, it is the position of Campbell University to refuse permission to any political candidate or group wishing to place political signs or advertisements along the right of way of the University property. Signs posted without permission will be removed immediately.
