Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 Returning Student Housing Selection

The Returning Student Housing Application is now open.

Step 1: Complete your Housing contract, pay your $100 Housing Deposit, and create your roommate group beginning Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Apply for HousingRequest Approval for Off-Campus Housing

Step 2: Select your room & add your meal plan beginning March 10.

 

Room and Meal Plan Selection Dates

  • February 3-24: Returning students complete the Housing Application to be eligible to be placed in the First Round of housing assignments.
  • February 24 at 11:59pm: Deadline for returning students to submit Housing Application and pay Housing Deposit to participate in the self-selection process.
  • March 10: Residents who chose to carryover will select their room. If residents who chose to carryover in their housing application do not enter the housing portal and select their housing assignment for carryover on this day, they will lose the ability to carryover their assignment for the fall 2026 semester.
  • March 11: Carryover residents can pull in roommates.
  • March 12: Upper-class residents living in Bob Barker, Faculty Memorial Commons, Fraternity & Sorority Houses*, Jones*, Luby Wood, and Stadium who did not carryover can select their room and pull in roommates.
    • *Only residents currently in Fraternity & Sorority Houses or Jones who will not live in those buildings for the 2026-2027 school year will choose rooms.
  • March 17-19: Residents living in Burkot, Small, McCall, Pat Barker, and Powell will select their room and roommates.
  • March 19 at 11:59pm: Deadline for returning students who did not submit their Housing Application by the February 24 deadline to submit Housing Application and pay Housing Deposit to participate in the self-selection process occurring March 24-26.
  • March 24-26: Residents who submitted their Housing Application after the February 24 deadline, and by the March 19 deadline, will select their rooms.
  • March 27-August 15: Students who applied after the March 19 deadline will be assigned housing by the Residence Life Office on a weekly basis.
