All students entering any North Carolina four-year college or university are required by state law to show proof of certain immunization. This applies to all students who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Enrolled in on-campus, in-person courses
- Taking any class of four or more credit hours
- Living in an on-campus residence facility
- Taking any courses that meet during the day
Students who meet any of these criteria must submit a Certificate of Immunization or Official Immunization record must be presented on or before the date the person first registers for a semester.
