Immunizations

All students entering any North Carolina four-year college or university are required by state law to show proof of certain immunization. This applies to all students who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in on-campus, in-person courses
  • Taking any class of four or more credit hours
  • Living in an on-campus residence facility
  • Taking any courses that meet during the day

Students who meet any of these criteria must submit a Certificate of Immunization or Official Immunization record must be presented on or before the date the person first registers for a semester.

*Failure to submit an approved Immunization Record by the deadline will result in default enrollment. Exemptions will NOT be granted after the waiver deadline has passed.
