Career Services Workshops
Career Services would like to offer career-related workshops for all undergraduate Campbell students. These workshops cover a variety of career-related topics prepping our students for workforce management and career success. Below you will find the eight (8) workshops that Career Services offers.
- Resume Writing is one piece of the career puzzle, allowing students to begin to present themselves professionally to employers.
- Students will learn how to professionally structure their resume with all the needed features, plus provide material on writing cover letters and personal statements for graduate school.
- Duration: 30, 50 or 90 minutes
- Audience: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
- Interviewing is another piece of the career puzzle, getting the students one step closer to their dream job!
- Learning Outcome: Students will be able to professionally and comfortably present themselves through practice questions and interview etiquette.
- Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
- Audience: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
- Professionalism in the Workplace is key for a successful work experience, developing effective work habits, and acting in interest of the larger community and workplace.
- Learning Outcomes: Students will learn about their preferred work environments, what they look for in supervisors and coworkers, and how they can be a successful asset to their future work team.
- Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
- Audience: Juniors and Seniors
- Major/Industry Specific Presentation focuses on up-to-date information about what students can do with their major, specific industry outlook, and job placement opportunities.
- Learning Outcome: Students will learn how to apply knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to their industry to begin gaining vital experience for their career field of choice.
- Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
- Audience: All students
