Use the following instructions for federal and institutional hiring of student workers.

You do not have to use CUHired to post and hire a student for an on-campus position.

Career Services Workshops

Career Services would like to offer career-related workshops for all undergraduate Campbell students. These workshops cover a variety of career-related topics prepping our students for workforce management and career success. Below you will find the four (4) workshops that Career Services offers.

  1. Resume Writing is one piece of the career puzzle, allowing students to begin to present themselves professionally to employers.
    • Students will learn how to professionally structure their resume with all the needed features, plus provide material on writing cover letters and personal statements for graduate school.
    • Duration: 30, 50 or 90 minutes
    • Audience: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
  2. Interviewing is another piece of the career puzzle, getting the students one step closer to their dream job!
    • Learning Outcome: Students will be able to professionally and comfortably present themselves through practice questions and interview etiquette.
    • Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
    • Audience: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
  3. Professionalism in the Workplace is key for a successful work experience, developing effective work habits, and acting in interest of the larger community and workplace.
    • Learning Outcomes: Students will learn about their preferred work environments, what they look for in supervisors and coworkers, and how they can be a successful asset to their future work team.
    • Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
    • Audience: Juniors and Seniors
  4. Major/Industry Specific Presentation focuses on up-to-date information about what students can do with their major, specific industry outlook, and job placement opportunities.
    • Learning Outcome: Students will learn how to apply knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to their industry to begin gaining vital experience for their career field of choice.
    • Duration: 30, 50, or 90 minutes
    • Audience: All students
