Writing Support Services

Writing support sessions are provided for students that would like to improve their writing skills. These sessions are available on an individual basis and can be offered for paper assignments in any course. Prior to your writing support session, please note the following:

  • Writing Coaches are prepared to review and offer suggestions for improvement. Our Writing Coaches do not provide a proofreading service but will help you improve your writing and develop a stronger paper.
  • You must have a copy of your paper. Writing Coaches are not permitted to review papers on a computer when meeting in person. However, if you are meeting online please have an electronic copy of your paper available. Please also have any assignment information provided by your instructor (syllabus, handout, etc.) readily available.
  • Students are encouraged to not wait until the night before a paper is due to meet with a Writing Coach for the first time as this may not provide an efficient session.

Are you a student seeking writing support? Please email our Writing Center Coordinator, Mr. Nate Salsbury at salsbury@campbell.edu for questions about Writing Services.
