Protocol for COVID Exposure & Associated Test Results

Assumptions/definitions 

  • A case is a student or employee who has tested positive. 
  • A suspect case is a student or employee who was exposed to a case and is symptomatic but has not yet received test results.
  • A contact/exposure is a student or employee who has had physical contact (of any duration), close contact (within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes without face coverings), or proximate contact (more than 6 feet but in the same room with contact for more than an hour without face coverings) with a case or suspect case.
