Become an Orientation Leader

The Orientation (TARTAN) Leader is a volunteer student leadership position designed to serve others. Orientation (TARTAN) Leaders are an instrumental part of welcoming our newest Camels to Campbell University.

Orientation (TARTAN) Leaders are instrumental in helping new students find their way into our Campbell Community. In staying within the coronavirus guidelines, these leaders will connect with new students virtually throughout the summer via telephone, e-mail and social media. These efforts will be to help each individual student feel welcome and connected. Main Campus students will move in early and participate in a 3-day TARTAN experience. The Tartan is a hybrid experience aimed at ensuring students are prepared with the tools necessary to navigate the first week and transition them into their Freshman Seminar while actively supporting their social integration into the camily. To ensure the best possible experience we are recruiting approximately 70 Orientation (TARTAN) leaders.

Orientation/Tartan leaders will need to attend or assist with any Face-to-face new student events, All Orientation Trainings, and be available to assist students and families on TARTAN Days.
