Peer Tutoring 

All academic support services begin on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024.

During the Fall & Spring semesters, tutoring is provided for the following courses. Check this list before you request a peer tutor. If you are able to find your course in the list, schedule an appointment with a tutor as explained at the bottom of the page. If not, you can request a peer tutor and we will find you one.

Scheduling an Appointment

Tutoring sessions are available Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Please submit all tutoring session requests on CU Succeed, which is available through Blackboard.

Online Tutoring Sessions

All online sessions are facilitated via Blackboard Collaborate.

Please view the following video tutorial. This video tutorial provides detailed instructions on how to access your tutoring session, after it has been scheduled. 

 

Note: To encourage independent learning and critical thinking, tutors are not allowed to complete homework with students. Students should first attempt their homework and then request a tutor’s assistance on a specific problem or question. Students may print the homework problem in which difficulty is experienced for a tutor to review once the student has made an attempt.

Residence Hall Tutoring:

Residence hall tutoring sessions are offered for the following courses to support our students in their academic endeavors.

Subjects: BIOL 111 and MATH 111
When: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: McCall Hall, in the lobby facing Sauls Hall

Subjects: CHEM 111/113 and MATH 112
When: Wednesdays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
