Lifeguard Training/CPR Cost

Lifeguard Training will be offered as an online blended format again this year.  As students complete the online classroom sessions we will schedule in-person skill sessions on the weekends.  The skill session dates listed below are independent of one another.  A participant who has completed the online training only needs to attend and successfully complete one skill session weekend.

The cost for the Lifeguard Training course is $200 per participant. If the participant is to be employed by the Campbell University Aquatics Department as a Lifeguard the cost will be waived/reimbursed.  The fee includes First-Aid course and a CPR course as well as a lifeguard manual. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our lifeguarding program will help students develop skills that will be of value to future employers. Please be aware that there are several prerequisites (listed below) that must be met on the first day in order to continue in the program. Students should practice these skills as needed before beginning the class, as there are no refunds given upon the start of the class.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer recertification is $80. CPR recertification participants are expected to provide their own rescue mask. Register early to ensure your choice of classes.

Prerequisites
