1. What is Orientation?
Orientation is designed to provide you with an introduction to life at Campbell University. While Orientation will not be held on campus this summer, we do hope you will gain a sense of family with our faculty, staff and current students as you participate in our various virtual events.
Most importantly, Orientation is your opportunity to obtain your tentative course plan for the fall semester.
2. Am I required to attend?
Orientation is required for all students entering for the fall of 2020. By participating in the Virtual Orientation Modules, you will learn about vital resources the University has to offer, and also the rules and regulations of the University. Orientation is one of the few times these items will be explained in great detail. It is also the time that you receive your tentative course plan for the fall semester. If you do not complete the required Virtual Orientation Modules, you will not receive your tentative course plan until August.
3. Do I have to attend all virtual events related to Orientation?
The only portion of Orientation you are required to complete are the Virtual Orientation Modules. We strongly encourage you and your family to participate in all other Orientation offerings to have your questions answered, meet other students and families and develop a sense of familiarity with the Campbell Family.
4. How can I see the room I will be living in this fall prior to move-in?
The Undergraduate Admissions Office is working with the Residence Life Office to film tours of each residence hall on campus. As we finish this project, the tours will be released via the website. Please check your Campbell email regularly for updates on residence hall tour videos.
5. When do I register for classes?
First time freshmen and transfer students will have their tentative course plan created for them by members of the Advising Team. The Advising Team has worked to take into consideration each student’s needs and preferences indicated on the pre-enrollment survey. Following the completion of the Student Planning Module, you will have access to your course plan for the fall through Student Planning on Monday, July 27.
6. How do I log in to participate in the Virtual Orientation Modules?
Once you have registered for the Virtual Orientation Module, you will receive detailed instructions on how to log in. You will need to provide your Campbell student ID number and your legal first and last name.
