In light of the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many providers have started offering virtual experiences. These programs offer cost-effective, results-based ways to get some of the benefits of studying or interning abroad without the current risks of travel. Working remotely is certainly an increasingly important skill, and virtual internships allow for both the technological and international experience.

AIFS, in partnership with Global Experiences, has a robust internship program following a Clifton Strengths-based model. In addition to virtual internships, students have the option to take online courses from a huge variety of universities all over the world, which means programs can be highly customized to meet student needs.
Visit SiteArcadia is offering Fall 2020 virtual internships in London, Edinburgh, Rome, and Athens. Arcadia works closely with students to find projects that complement their career goals. Programs include virtual cultural activities and a resume workshop.

Visit SiteFollowing the motto “Go Global. Stay Local”, CEA offers both international coursework and internship options, as well as a lecture series for international perspectives on global issues.
Visit SiteInternational internships where you will work on a project in your field which can be completed remotely, accompanied by career-boosting coursework to supplement the experience and help you navigate the culture and the technology. The courses will also feature interactions with students in other countries.
