Domestic Students

To ensure compliance with the new Affordable Care Act, Campbell University is requiring all full-time, main campus, undergraduate students to provide proof of insurance coverage or enroll in Campbell University’s student domestic health insurance plan.  Action is required by August 30, 2013 to avoid non-refundable charges to your student account.

To enroll in the domestic plan, please click on “Enroll in Student Health Insurance” and enroll in the plan.  Your information will be processed by our insurance provider, and your student account will be charged accordingly. 
If you are covered by a personal policy and wish to complete a Waiver, click the above link and once you are in the Student Health Insurance portal the Waiver tab is on the left side of the page.  Click on the tab and follow the steps to compete your Waiver request.  Have your insurance card available, you will be required to provide your insurance information.  Our insurance provider will review the waiver request and determine if your plan meets requirements of the Affordable Care Act.  If your waiver is approved, you will receive an email confirmation, and your student account will not be charged.

All students are required to complete the Waiver or enroll in the domestic policy by   August 30, 2013.  If you do not complete the Waiver, or do not sign up for insurance by the deadline date you will be automatically enrolled in the Campbell University policy and your student account will be charged accordingly.  Student Health Insurance will be purchased for you on September 1, 2013; therefore, charges applied to the student account are non-refundable.

International Students

Effective fall 2010, international students are required to purchase Hospitalization/Sickness Insurance. International students will be automatically enrolled into the insurance plan by the Business Office. The cost of insurance coverage will be charged to your student account. The Business Office will remit payment to the insurance company on your behalf and contact you when insurance cards become available.
