Faithe Beam – Campus Minister Faithe is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Music Education. She received her Master of Divinity Degree from Campbell University Divinity School in 2003. Before coming to campus ministry, Faithe served as director of Student Services at Campbell Divinity School for nearly five years. Faithe is married to Tom, consultant for children and student missions for Baptist Men of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. They have one son, Patrick, who is two years old. When Faithe is not working on campus, she can be found playing with Patrick who loves to ride the lawnmower and throw any kind of ball. She also enjoys reading, sports, and watching television. Faithe’s favorite part of serving in campus ministry is building relationships with students and helping students discover their place in life.
Terry J. Tucker – Administrative Assistant Terry began her college career in January 2005 as a full-time student and also took a part-time position with Campbell’s Computing Services Department. She has recently transitioned to a full-time employee with Campus Ministry and a part-time student. Terry is seeking a BA in Religion with a minor in Family Studies. Terry has two grown children. Adam and wife Jessi live in Terry’s hometown of Statesville, NC. They are the parents of Terry’s two grandsons, Brennon, who is 2 years old and Bryson, who is 1 year old. Her daughter, Morgan, is a graduate of Liberty University who now lives and works in the Raleigh area. When Terry is not on campus, she can be found spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. In addition, she serves as Minister to Youth and Children at First Baptist Church, Erwin N.C. The desire of Terry’s heart is to encourage others to “hold unswervingly to the hope that we profess, for He who promises is faithful” (Heb. 10:23 NIV). Kelly Rhodes – Intern Wallace Student Center Kelly is a 2004 graduate of Meredith College with a B.S. in Accounting, and a 2007 graduate of Campbell Divinity School with a M. Div. in Christian Education. When Kelly isn’t around campus, she can probably be found cheering on the Blue Devils with her family or out with friends. In addition to Duke basketball, Kelly’s interests include music, movies, reading, and shopping. She enjoys conversation of all types, especially discussion dealing with the aforementioned topics, and loves to hear a good story. Kelly places high value on laughter and solid relationships. Kelly’s primary responsibilities in campus ministry are with CUW administration and United Campus Ministries. Her favorite part of ministry is helping people recognize their gifts and plug into ministry where they can best work within their giftedness. Chad Reed – Graduate Assistant Wallace Student Center Chad is a 2006 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is in his second year at Campbell University Divinity School where he is working towards the M.Div. degree. While in Divinity School, Chad has been discerning his areas of calling and giftedness into the ministry. He is discovering an increased interest in the area of social ministry and helping people meet their needs. In his free time, Chad likes to hang out with friends, play guitar, watch TV, play videogames, and cook. Some of your best conversations with him might involve sports or music. The conversation will be even better if you are talking about professional sports and rock music. With experience as an active participant and leader at UNCG's BSU during his college years, Chad will serve as an advisor to BSU's council this year. He will also help to coordinate CUW and to meet the needs of the student body. His giftedness in ministry is best expressed through helping, serving, and encouraging. |
