MEMORANDUM FOR CAMPBELL BATTALION CADRE AND CADETS

SUBJECT:  Policy Letter #3, Equal Opportunity

1.  Members of the Army team all come from diverse backgrounds.  Regardless of our race, religion, ethnicity, gender or national origin, everyone deserves equal opportunity.

2.  Army team members deserve and will receive from us equal opportunity, the respect due a team member, and the kind of leadership each of us wants to receive.

3.  Prejudicial treatment of any kind, at any time, at any place, or under any circumstances will not be tolerated.  Offenders will be dealt with accordingly.  There is no place on the Army team for persons who hold and or express ideas of inherent, individual or group superiority due to any of the factors listed in paragraph 1.  Superiority results from hard, honest work and from how well one leads one's life.

4.  As the Battalion Equal Opportunity Officer, any apparent or perceived violation of this policy should be brought to my attention or the attention of the Battalion Equal Opportunity Representative (EOR) immediately.
