Land Navigation

Learn how to navigate across terrain given a lensetic compass, a map and a pace-count.

Basic Rifle Marksmanship

Learn how to become an expert marksman using the M-16A2 assault rifle. Cadets will learn how to apply immediate action to a malfunctioned weapon, how to properly operate the weapon and how to coach a battle buddy on proper techniques.

Weapons Assembly/Disassembly

Learn how properly assemble and disassemble the M-16A2, M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), and M-60 machine gun.

Hand Grenades

Learn all the different types of grenades that the Army uses. Cadets will also learn how to deploy the M-69 practice grenade. (deploy a live grenade at advanced camp)

Machine Guns

Cadets will learn how to properly fire the M-249 SAW and the M-60 machine gun.

Combat Water Survival

Cadets will learn how to survive in combat if you were to enter a water obstacle expectedly or unexpectedly by demonstrating water survival skills. Skills include swimming 50 meters unassisted, swim for a short period with a load bearing equipment and a rifle, equipment ditch and unexpected water entry.

Special Weapons

Cadets will learn how to properly deploy special weapons like the AT-4 and the claymore anti-personnel mine.
