SFC
Williams enlisted in the Army in March of 1985 and attended One
Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he
graduated as a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator.
SFC Williams served in
several leadership positions ranging from Team Leader to First
Sergeant. While assigned to 82nd Airborne Division
in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, SFC Williams served as a Squad Leader
in the 618th Engineer Company. He went on to serve
as the Battalion Construction NCO in Headquarters and Headquarters
Company, 307th Engineer Battalion.
Following his assignments
in Fort Bragg, SFC Williams was reassigned to 25th
Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawai’i. There he
served as a Platoon Sergeant and the Company Operations Sergeant for
the 84th Engineer Battalion. He also served in
platoon sergeant positions for the 63rd Engineer Company
in Fort Benning, Georgia.
While assigned to Fort
Benning, Georgia, SFC Williams served as the Senior Drill Sergeant
for 1/38th Infantry Battalion and Charlie Company, 30th
Adjutant General (AG) Battalion (Reception). He filled in as
First Sergeant in Hawai’i and Georgia on numerous occasions and
retired as the Senior Processing NCO for 30th AG.
His military education
includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic
Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Advance Non-Commissioned Officer
Course, Jungle Warfare Course, Air Assault Course, Airborne School,
the Modern Army Combatives Program, Drill Sergeant Course,
Instructor Training Course, and the Equal Opportunity Leaders
Course.
His civilian education
includes an Associates Degree in Administrative Justice and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. SFC Williams is presently
pursuing a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
SFC William’s awards and

SFC Williams served in
three combat tours: Operation Just Cause Panama, Operation Desert
Storm/Desert Shield and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
