THE NEED
MAKE A
COMMITMENT TO HELP US FULFILL THAT NEED
According to the statistics compiled from the 2001
Pharmacy Manpower Project, Inc. Conference, it is projected that
in the year 2020 their will be a need of 417,000 pharmacists in
the United States. The projection also indicates that the number
of pharmacists in the country will be 260,000. That is almost a 38%
shortfall (157,000) of pharmacists. The need is real. Make a
commitment to support that need by contributing to the School of
Pharmacy’s Building Campaign.
The need
for well-trained, competent, qualified pharmacists has never been
greater. The Campbell University School of Pharmacy provides
OPPORTUNITY to future pharmacists, allowing them to become leaders
within their industry. To continue to provide OPPORTUNITY to our
students we NEED your continued support. By becoming a contributor
to the School of Pharmacy’s Building Campaign, you will be
providing OPPORTUNITIES for future students in our program.

THE GOAL
WHY?
Because now, more than ever, we need your support. The new
Pharmacy Building will cost $10 million and provide
us with 42,000 square feet of new space, addressing the need for
state-of-the-art program facilities which provide for learning
opportunities through the integration of lecture, lab, and small
classroom spaces. The new building will provide: break-out rooms
essential for group activities in therapeutics, non-prescription
drugs, and immunology; two 250 capacity lecture halls with
expanded technology; a professional association meeting area,
where students can participate in association meetings, and store
their association documents in one place; a student center for
socialization and interaction; and enhanced laboratory space
including larger laboratories to foster compounding skills.

NAMING OPPORTUNITIES
Various naming opportunities
are available within the new building. Make a difference in the
Pharmacy New Building Campaign and seize the OPPORTUNITY. To view

OPPORTUNITIES begin at $25,000 and can be paid through
installments and other methods. For more information on becoming a
