What is a MOOC? MOOC is short for Massive Open Online Course. MOOCs allow you to attend a (typically) 'not for credit' course on just about any subject in an online environment.

Why should you care? MOOCs can provide another method for instructors to keep current in their respective fields or just another way to learn something new.
