Freeman elected to Campbell’s Presidential Board of Advisors
Charles F. Freeman, of Loris, S.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s
Presidential Board of Advisors. Freeman is president and chairman of the Felburn
Foundation, a philanthropic organization that has made substantial financial
contributions to Horry County libraries, Coastal Carolina University,
Horry-Georgetown Technical College and others causes both local and national.
Freeman is a 1960 graduate of Furman University. He was
named to the Honors Edition of Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals
Cambridge Registry for 2007-2008.
A native of Tuxedo, N.C., Freeman and his wife
Charlotte are members of the Loris First Baptist Church.
Founded in 1887, Campbell University is a private,
coeducational institution of liberal arts, sciences and professions offering
undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. The university is comprised of the
