Voices of experience
Former Master of School Administration students share their wisdom with current
students in a seminar titled, “Voices of Experience.” This was the first year
for the seminar and it was prompted at the request of students. Dr. Carolyn
Morrison, associate professor of education, said the seminar will definitely be
repeated,
“I heard a lot of great advice. For example, treat your
faculty members like gold and give them all the freedom you can,” she said. “Try
to learn the names of students and parents, and develop strong relationships
with the school secretary, the head custodian and the cafeteria manager.”
