Adams Named Publications Manager at Campbell

Gail Adams has been named publications manager at Campbell
University, effective August 2. Adams was a public relations specialist
and Web site coordinator at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs,
NC, prior to coming to Campbell.
Adams also served as alumni communications coordinator under the
director of Alumni Relations at Gardner-Webb.
A graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN, Adams received a
Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in music
business. She also continued in courses of interest at Gardner-Webb,
including journalism and psychology studies.
In addition, Adams has served as a
graphic designer at The Shelby Star, providing creative
services for the newspaper’s advertising and special sections
department.
As publications manager at Campbell, Adams will oversee the
publication of the Prospect, the alumni tabloid publication of
the university, in addition to writing news releases and feature
stories.
She is married to Lee Adams, a graduate of the photojournalism
program of Gardner-Webb University and an intern in the photography
department of the Fayetteville Observer. They have a daughter, Haley,
age 3.
“I have a passion for Christian higher education beginning with my
own search for a college home,” Adams said. “The impact of those college
years was tremendously positive as have been my six years working in
Christian higher education. I am fortunate to continue the work here at
Campbell.”
