Cook elected to Presidential Board of Advisors
Suzanne Benton Cook, of Benson, N.C., has been elected to Campbell University’s
Presidential Board of Advisors. Cook is the president of Benton Card Company in
Benson.
She graduated from Brenau University in 1968 with a
bachelor’s degree in physical education and is an active member of her
community. Cook served as president of the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce in
2000 and was named Benson “Citizen of the Year” in 2001. She has also served on
the boards of several civic organizations, including the Johnston County
Community Foundation Board, the Benson Rescue Squad, the Benson Area Medical
Center, the Johnston Country Habitat for Humanity, and the Johnston County
Visitors Bureau. In addition, she is a member of the Benson Area Chamber of
Commerce Economic Development Committee.
Cook is the treasurer of the Benson United Methodist
Church, where she is a member of the choir and past president of the United
Methodist Women. She is the wife of Stephen P. Cook, of Evansville, Ind.
