Campbell to hold second annual conference on
Faith and Communication
Christian professors of
mass communication from regional universities will meet at Campbell University
Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, for the second annual Conference on Faith
and Communication at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C.
Friday will feature a student film festival in the Wallace Student Center, with
academic papers on faith and communication being presented Saturday in the
Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. Paper topics range from “Southern Gospel as
a Site for Research and Writing” to “A Survey of the Spiritual Needs Felt by
North Carolinians.”
The event promotes scholarship and fellowship among
Christian scholars who have a common interest in faith and communication.
Schools represented at the event include Asbury, Carson-Newman, Lee, Liberty,
Regent and the University of South Carolina.
