Foy Elected to Board of Trustees

Robert (Bob) Foy, of Mooresville, NC, was recently
elected to the Campbell University Board of Trustees. Foy is
president of American Electrical Corporation in Charlotte, NC, an
electrical contracting business.
Active in the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Foy
served two years as first vice president, a position now filled by his wife,
the former Phyllis Ann Clubbs, of Charlotte, NC. Phyllis Foy also serves as
state director of the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). In addition, the Foys
are the National Lay Renewal coordinators for the Mission Service Corps, an
affiliate of the North American Mission Board.
Foy is a member of Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville,
where he serves as an assistant Girls in Action leader, coordinating father
and daughter activities, and is a member of the Long Range Planning Committee.
Foy is also a former deacon of the church.
The Foys are the parents of three children, Wesley and Wayne
Foy and Windy Saleeby. They have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Founded in 1887, Campbell University is North Carolina’s
second largest private institution of higher education and the second largest
Baptist university in the world. Located in Buies Creek, NC, just east of the
center of the state, Campbell combines academic excellence and Christian
commitment.
