Clark elected to Campbell University Board of Trustees
Rogers H. Clark, of Clinton, N.C., has been elected to the Campbell University
Board of Trustees. Clark is a second-generation president of Sampson-Bladen Oil
Company, Inc. in Clinton.
The 67-year-old company is a major supplier of
petroleum products for commercial and residential use. The company sells
products under a variety of national brands, including British Petroleum Amoco,
Exxon Mobil and Citgo.
Clark is a past president of the Petroleum Marketers
Association of America and received the organization’s 2000 Distinguished
Service Award. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Petroleum
Marketers Oil Company, founded by the association in 2001.
A graduate of East Carolina University, Clark received
a Bachelor of Science degree in business education. He served his country in the
U.S. Army National Guard from which he is retired.
Clark is a member of the First Baptist Church of
Clinton, where he serves as a deacon and member of the board of directors. In
addition, he serves on the Stewardship and Administration committees.
Married to the late Billie Carol Litton Clark, Clark is the
father of three children and has seven grandchildren.
