Divinity School plans Reformation and Anabaptist tour of Germany
The Campbell University Divinity School students will
get a chance to walk in Martin Luther’s footsteps. They are going on a
Reformation and Anabaptist tour of Germany May 15- 24, 2007. Students, alumni
and friends of Campbell University are invited.
The group will explore some of Germany’s finest
scenery, take in the rich culture, learn the history and remember the Christian
leaders they have studied about. The tour starts in Frankfurt and ends in
Wiesbaden.
“The purpose of the trip is to broaden the educational
opportunities of our students by all the benefits travel affords, visiting sites
of people and places they study about in the classroom,” said Roy DeBrand,
professor of preaching at Campbell University’s Divinity School.
This is the third trip the Divinity School has taken.
The first, in 2004, was the Great Preachers of the Reformation Study Tour in
Germany, Prague (Czech Republic) and Switzerland. The second, in 2006, was the
Great Preachers of Great Britain Study Tour in England and Scotland.
