Merry joins Campbell faculty
Dr. Mark Merry has been appointed associate professor
of math and computer sciences at Campbell University. Merry teaches at
Campbell’s Malaysian campus at Kuala Lumpur in the summer and fall semesters. He
teaches on the main campus in the spring.
Merry earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Kent
State University and master’s degree in computer science from Ohio State
University. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from Edinboro
University.
Prior to coming to Campbell, Merry taught at Tiffin
University and Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio. He also taught at Kent State
University. Merry worked as a program analyst for General Electric, a computer
programmer for Columbia Gas Company and as a consultant for Sanduskey Computer
Company.
Merry currently resides in Holly Springs with his wife,
Mary. They are the parents of five children
