Seeligman joins Foreign Languages Department
Dr. Tatiana Seeligman has been appointed associate professor of Spanish at
Campbell University.
Seeligman earned a Ph.D. from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has a Masters degree in Spanish from Pennsylvania
State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the
University of Louisville.
Prior to coming to Campbell, Seeligman served as a
teaching assistant at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Seeligman
has worked as a Spanish lecturer at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC,
and also as a Spanish instructor at Georgia Military College, Paine College, and
Augusta State University in Georgia. She has worked as an education lecturer at
the Universidad Cristiana in San Salvador and an English instructor at the
Escuela Interamericana in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Seeligman was previously
co-editor of “Voces del Horizonte,” a literary journal of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also worked as a translator for Atlantic
International Translators, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga.
Seeligman currently resides in Holly Springs with her
husband, Sai Sethuraman. They have two children.
