Kennedy named Distinguished Alumna of Campbell University
Dr. LeAnne Kennedy, of Winston-Salem, N.C., has been named a Distinguished
Alumna of Campbell University. Kennedy received the award on Saturday, Dec. 17,
at Campbell’s winter graduation ceremonies where she was a keynote speaker.
A 1993 cum laude graduate of Campbell’s School of
Pharmacy, Kennedy is the Pharmaceutical Care Coordinator for Hematology and
Oncology for inpatients at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She
has also served as an adjunct professor at Campbell’s School of Pharmacy, the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University School of
Medicine.
Kennedy has presented papers throughout the U.S. and
was named one of the 50 Most Influential Pharmacists in America by “American
Druggist” magazine in 1999. She is a member of the Hematology and Oncology
Pharmacy Association (founding member), the American Society of Health-System
Pharmacists, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society
of Clinical Oncology, among other organizations.
