Campbell University’s 2014-15 academic year was again historic with the election of ourfifth president in 128 years, the announced addition of another new school and the groundbreaking of the second building on our new Health Sciences Campus. Campbell also enjoyed record enrollment, continued success both academically and athletically and national recognition for our undergraduate and professional programs. Campbell University conferred nearly 1,000 degrees over five ceremonies on May 8 and 9, as well as commissioned seven ROTC cadets as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. These ceremonies also marked the last ones that Jerry Wallace will preside over as president. He’ll step down from the position June 30.

University Communications highlights, communicates and promotes the activities of Campbell University’s faculty, staff and students, and acts as a liaison between the university and its constituents, including the public, news media, stakeholders and alumni. Among the communications team’s responsibilities are distributing news releases and managing the university’s internal and external communications. The office produces several print and online publications, including Campbell Magazine and We Are Campbell, and oversees the university’s main website and key social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
