King of Pop tribute band to perform for Homecoming 2012

BUIES CREEK - For a world that will never see another live performance from the King of Pop, this is perhaps the next best thing.

Who’s Bad, the self-proclaimed Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band, will perform 7 p.m. Friday at the John W. Pope Convocation Center as part of Campbell University’s Homecoming 2012 celebration.

Tickets are still available and free to all Campbell students (information below). Tickets for the general public are $10 and are on sale at the information desk at Wallace Student Center or online here.

Who’s Bad is billed as the longest-running Michael Jackson tribute band, and the only one to predate his passing. The group sold out nearly 50 venues in the United Kingdom including London’s O2 in December of 2010, the venue where the King of Pop was slated to end his career with a 50-show “This Is It” concert series.

The Chapel Hill-based group has also performed in China, Brazil and cities throughout the United States.
