Major Gary McNeill, left, of the Harnett County Sheriff's Department shows Campbell University students a cell. From left, are Courtney Chase, Amanda Johnson, Emily Oldham, Eric Nusbaum and Evan Staehle. The students saw the padded cell during a private tour of the new $22 million Harnett County law enforcement facility. The exploration of the facility, slated to house 300 inmates beginning in mid-April, was a part of an interviewing exercise in Dr. Michael Smith's reporting class.
