Every now and then, the best instigators of Campbell Pride come from sources not related to Campbell University in any way.

In May, Geico — known for its clever campaigns over the years — introduced its “Hump Day” ad, which featured an overly excited camel roaming various office spaces trying to get co-workers to declare Wednesday as “Hump Day!” When “Leslie” finally gives in and gives him the answer he wants, he responds with the often-imitated, “Woot woot!”

The video garnered more than four million views on YouTube and several likes, shares, retweets and posted links from Campbell students and alumni. Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike ...
