About Us

Chris O’Connor is the Director of Student Activities at Campbell University.  His office is located on the bottom floor of Baldwin Hall.  He can be reached at (910) 893-1554 or by email at oconnorc@campbell.edu. Chris came to Campbell University after completing his Masters in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs at North Carolina State University in 2006. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Chris attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a degree in History and Communications Studies. Chris has worked in a variety of student affairs settings including The Center for Academic Integrity at Duke University and Carmichael Gymnasium at N.C. State. Aside from overseeing the operation of the Wallace Student Center, his responsibilities include advising the Campus Activities Board and Inter-Organizational Council, working with the Student Government Association, and overseeing the International Student Services program. Chris is currently working on his PhD in Higher Educaution Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and enjoys playing disc golf, travelling, and spending time with his wife, son, and new daugher.

Karie Parkes is the Assistant Director of Student Activities.  Her office is located on the bottom floor of Baldwin Hall, and she can be reached at (910)814-4758 or by email at sagrad2@campbell.edu.  Karie graduate from Western Harnett High School.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Campbell University in 2005.  Karie also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University Divinity School.  She is an active member of Lafayette Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC and on the Student Advisory Leadership Team at Campbell University Divinity School.  Karie loves to travel, swim, and watch movies.  She especially enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Andrea Streb serves as the Graduate Assistant for International Students Services. Her office is located on the bottom floor of Baldwin Hall and she can be reached at (910) 814-4757 or by email at intlga@campbell.edu. Andrea obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Campbell University. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Education degree with a concentration in Health and Physical Education from Campbell University. Andrea enjoys playing sports, sailing, singing at church, and a good front porch swing. Andrea has a desire to serve others through her job and she is excited to learn about the different cultures of Campbell University’s international students..

Michael Tilley is the Graduate Assistant for Student Government. His office is located on the bottom floor Baldwin Hall and he can be reached at (910) 814-4756 or by email at sagrad@campbell.edu. Michael graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Outside of Student Activities he enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time with loved ones. Michael has a desire to help student government and clubs reach their full potential. 

Cody Oxendine is the Graduate Assistant for Greek Life.  His office is located on the bottom floor of Baldwin hall and can be reached at 910-814-4915 or by email at greekga@campbell.edu.  Cody graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008 and is a member of Epsilon Chi Nu Fraternity, Inc.  He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  Cody enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family
