About Me: I started doing Zumba in 2010 and have lost a total of 70 lbs since then! I received my license to teach in October of 2011. I'm a freshman Music Education major. Music and Dance have both played pretty large roles in my life. I love to have a lot of fun in my classes, and hope to see you there soon!

About Me: I teach the Korean martial art Tang Soo Do. I will be focusing on the foundations of martial arts, and my classes will consist of working techniques, forms, technique sparring, and some self-defense. I have been doing martial arts for almost 12 years now, and I have a black belt in two different styles: American Karate and Tang Soo Do. I am a certified instructor in Tang Soo Do. I am a junior Chemistry and Math double major with minors in Biology and General Science. I am also a lab instructor for General Chemistry and General Physics.

Class Description:

Zumba:
Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

Zumba Toning:
It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.

About Me: I am currently a student and a Kinesiology Major. Fitness is a way of life for me and I absolutely love what Zumba has to offer. I have been taking Zumba for over a year now, and I received my Zumba basic 1 in August of 2011. I have been teaching here at Campbell University since August of 2011, and I have truly had a blast. I have been certified for Zumba Toning since March of 2012 and now offer classes for toning. Zumba is a great way to "Party" while working out! You will find that you quickly work out your stress and can't stop smiling in class! I love to whoop and holler and there is never a dull moment. Please come and join me in class!

Class - Hip Hop Jam'n

Class Times - Monday: 5:45-6:45pm

Class Description: “Hip Hop Jam’n” is a high intensity class filled with enthusiasm and fun. This style of dance uses today’s current Top 40 music such as songs by Rhianna, Pitbull, LMFAO, Flo Rida, Lil Jon, etc. This class is sure to make you work up a big sweat while dancing, laughing, and burning off those calories! Anyone can do this class, from beginners to die hards; all routines can be modified to be a low intensity level for beginners, an intermediate level for those who have been working out for a while, or an advanced level for those who love to bust it all out! Absolutely no doubt that you will have fun during my class, not to mention getting into shape!

About Me: I have been an Aerobics Instructor for 28 years. I have taught many different types of Aerobic classes during those years. My specialty has been all levels of Step Aerobics. The additional classes I have been an instructor for are Fat Burner, High Impact, Low Impact, Sculpting, Kickboxing, Stress Relief Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, Circuit, Core Training and more. I became licensed three years ago in Zumba, the traditional Latin style and branched out to Hip Hop and found that the Hip Hop style is what I love!

About Me:  I began taking Zumba classes 4 years ago, and I enjoyed it so thoroughly that I decided to become a Zumba instructor. I obtained my level 1 Zumba instructor certificate, and this year, I have earned my level 2 Zumba certificate. I began giving classes at Campbell University last summer. I also teach Zumba classes at Grace Ballroom in Angier, and at Super Bee's Gym in Coats.

Class Description: Christian Yoga Class – A Spiritual Practice

** Class at Campbell University Carter Gym Fitness Room **

Classes open to all (general public and Campbell University students & faculty/staff) Cost: free for Campbell University students, faculty and staff; all others first class free; then whatever donation you can afford ($10 max adults, $5 max non-CU students)

*Class Focus – postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation on God

*Who Should Attend – suitable for all, regardless of age, gender or fitness level

*Why Attend – improve flexibility and strength, relax body and mind, be still and focus on God

Advanced registration is not required, so please join this weekly class any time your schedule permits. You may bring your own mat or towel.

About Me:  Yoga With Martha classes are led by Martha Harmon, a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor. Martha received her certification from the NC School of Yoga in Raleigh, NC, where she studied yoga with her beloved teacher, Chandra Om and her mentor, Lakshmi Om.  Her yogic studies with Chandra have been a tremendous blessing physically, mentally and spiritually.

Martha currently teaches classes and workshops in Buies Creek, NC and has also led classes for the NC School of Yoga, Red Elephant Yoga and Campbell University.  She also taught a class on health and wellness at SchoolDude University, the annual conference of SchoolDude.com where she has served on the Marketing Team for ten years.

Martha is a longtime member of Buies Creek First Baptist Church, where she leads the Handbell Choir and sings in the choir.  She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family, friends and two dogs.  Martha graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC with a BA in Mass Communication and a minor in Computer Information Systems.

Ladies and gentleman, athletes and those who are just starting to add a workout to their schedule. Zumba works all areas of your body focusing on your core muscles, legs and arms.  With Zumba you get the most out of your workout by doing fun and easy-to-follow, calorie-blasting, Latin-inspired dance moves that boost your energy and relieve stress. It’s almost like dancing your way into fitness. You can dance at your own pace putting as much into your workout as you wish, but trust me, you will leave knowing you have had a workout and feeling great about yourself. Come join me and you’ll see what I mean.  You don’t even have to know how to dance.  Just move your body to the music and follow my lead.  It’s easy!  Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast! About me: 
I am currently a Junior in Elementary Education here at Campbell.  I have been working out with Zumba since 2011 when I started taking classes here at Campbell. I looked forward to the workouts so much that in October 2012 I went to get my Zumba instructor license. I currently have classes here at Campbell and I also have class at the Nautilus Family Fitness Center in Asheboro.  I try to keep my classes fresh and I am constantly working on new songs to add to my playlist.  I welcome song suggestions and welcome you to come workout in my class!  I love to make noise and get the whole class involved in every song, so that you will constantly be having fun while getting fit!  We will have a blast!!!  Come out and party your way into fitness!!!
