Fitness
The fitness program within the Department of Campus Recreation allows you as a student the opportunity to workout in a multitude of different ways. In the Holding Fitness Facility located within the John W. Pope Convocation Center you can climb on one of our many treadmills or elpiticals, complete a circuit within our strength equipment, use free weights or even simulate climbing any mountain on our Tread Wall. In the Carter Free Weight room within Carter Gym, you can get a workout by using any of the free weights in theis facility completely dedicated to "pumping iron". Also in Carter Gym you can participate in any of our FREE fitness classes with offerings in yoga, step aerobics, Zumba, Cross-Fit and many more. Fitness Secret Shoppers
SECRET SHOPPERS NEEDED: in an effort to keep our program top notch, we are looking for students, faculty, and staff that are willing to “secret shop” our Group Exercise classes, Holding Student Fitness Center, and Carter Gym Free Weight Room.
