Campbell University is once again proud to welcome the North Carolina Collegiate Flag Football Championships which will be held October 24-26, 2014 in Buies Creek, NC. We are very excited about your teams possible participation this year and wanted to give you the necessary details so you can make plans to attend. Below you will find the necessary registration forms and payment information.

 

Teams are required to type all forms. The tournament forms are in a writeable PDF format available below. Simply type the information (team name, participant name, etc.) into the respective boxes and then print the forms. All team rosters and team roster additions must be approved by your institution’s registrar (or the appropriate person who verifies enrollment) and must bear the institution’s seal. The original document with the original seal must be submitted to our tournament staff no later than the Captain’s Meeting on Friday, October 24. NO COPIES OF THE SEAL WILL BE ACCEPTED AS AN OFFICIAL ROSTER.


The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Lillington NC and Comfort Inn in Fuquay-Varina NC are the Official Accommodation sponsors of the 2014 North Carolina State Flag Football Tournament with a special rate of $71.99 a night + tax. Please contact the Microtel at (910) 893-2626 and Comfort Inn at (919)-557-9000.   Mention the "NC State Flag Football Tournament" and they will be happy to accommodate you.  Each of these hotels has a block of rooms reserved, but these will fill up quickly, so book your room as soon as possible.  You will find additional information about the hotels located on the tournament website.


Entry fees for this year’s tournament are as follows. All entries postmarked by October 15, 2014 will receive the early bird discount of $100.00. For entries postmarked after October 15, the cost will be $125.00. No entries will be accepted after October 23, 2014. If you have teams interested in participating, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reserve them a spot in the tournament.


Last year’s tournament enjoyed the spirited competition of 13 teams from seven institutions from within the state.  Our champions were Western Carolina University-Primetime in the men’s and co-rec divisions and North Carolina A&T State University-Aggie Elite from the women’s field.  We encourage you to send all of your women’s and Co-Rec teams in addition to your men’s team(s) as again all three NIRSA sponsored divisions will be offered.  The champions in each division will receive their entry fee in the Southern Atlantic Flag Football Tournament at UNC-Wilmington in November.


The tournament will be governed by NIRSA Flag Football rules. We plan to have 16 officials representing universities from throughout the state.  If you have interested officials or are interested in serving as a professional staff member, please contact us as soon as possible.
