Dear Intramural Professional,
I would like to invite you and your Intramural Flag Football Officials to attend the Thirteenth Annual Regional training clinic on Saturday, September 6th at Campbell University, in Buies Creek, NC. This clinic will provide an opportunity for younger officials to get a head start on the season as well as allow more experienced officials the chance to work off the “rust” that has accumulated since last flag football season. This year we will be continuing the Administrator’s track for the second year. This will allow those professionals, both new and veteran, who do not necessarily have an officiating background the opportunity to learn new ideas and strategies on how to enhance the official’s training and development program on their campus as well as give a forum to share and develop new ideas for all areas of Campus Recreation. The training staff will be top notch, consisting of the current and former All-American Flag Football Officials and experienced program administrators from around the region. It is not often that a training staff of this caliber is available to instruct you and your officials.
The clinic will begin on Saturday morning around 9:00am (An exact agenda will be sent to all attendees) and will end by 6:00pm. All participants will get the opportunity to officiate simulated game situations and work in stations to improve their on-field work.
The cost for the clinic will be $32.00 for those attending who want to purchase a copy of the 2013-2014 NIRSA Flag and Touch Flag Football Rules Book & Officials Manual and $23.00 for those attending who do not want a copy of the manual. This cost includes your registration fee, a t-shirt, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and refreshments for the workshop. For any professional staff members attending the Administrators clinic the cost will be $20.00.
Please use the link below to register yourself as well as your staff members. You will be able to pay your registration fees at the clinic site. The deadline for registration will be Thursday, September 4th; however, if your officials require rulebooks, we need to know by Tuesday, September 2nd to ensure we have them on-site. In the event rulebooks are not available at the time of the clinic, your officials may choose to receive a nine-dollar refund or they may choose to have their rulebooks mailed to them at no further cost.
