Josh Owens – Graduate Assistant

Josh is a 2011 graduate of Campbell University with a B.S. in Sports Management with a minor in Religion. Josh also loves sitting down with a good book and a cup of coffee, relaxing with friends, and listening to good music.

His goal is to help others recognize and achieve the calling that God has placed on their lives. Through ministering to athletes and coaches, he aims to encourage them to use their influential positions for the good of Christ’s kingdom.

Tyler is a 2009 graduate of Campbell University with a degree in Government. He is currently enrolled in Divinity School at Campbell, pursuing his Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry. Before joining the Campus Ministry staff in the summer of 2010, Tyler had been involved in a number of campus ministry groups at Campbell during his time in undergrad. Over the past several years, he has worked for Camp Dixie and the Governor’s School of North Carolina.

Tyler is a native of St. Pauls, NC and is more than willing to share story after story about the small town he still calls home. When not in Buies Creek or St. Pauls, you can find him at Sunset Beach playing mini-golf or enjoying the catch of the day in Calabash.

You can usually spot his tall frame and red hair either walking or biking around campus. Tyler enjoys the life and music of Johnny Cash, meeting new people, and sharing in the absurd and hilarious of everyday life with those around him.

Tyler has a calling for college ministry and relational discipleship with students during their time at Campbell. While he primarily works with Resident Chaplaincy and Church Relations, he never misses an opportunity to get to know students on a personal level as he tries to help each student realize their God-given gifts and talents.
