Recently completed projects include the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center which houses the Gilbert Craig Gore Arena (September 2008), the Robert and Anna Butler Chapel (2009) and a new roundabout on Leslie Campbell Avenue (2009). The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law has relocated to downtown Raleigh and opened to students on September 14, 2009.

Projects completed in 2010 include a new athletic track and renovations to Wiggins Hall to house the Carrie Rich Undergraduate Library. Construction is underway on a new dormitory for female students with plans for completion by the Fall semester of 2010.

The next major project will involve preparations for a new Physician Assistant program scheduled to enroll the first class of students in August of 2011.
