Guidelines:
For reports:
5 is rare. Perhaps one in twenty reports will achieve this status. It is given for those reports that are complete, correct, neat, and concise.
4 is common. Perhaps eight in twenty. It is given for reports that are complete, mostly correct, and neat.
3 is common. Perhaps eight in twenty. A report will dip to this level when a question or two have not been answered (or are obviously incorrect), or portions of the report are messy or illegible.
2 is scarce. Perhaps two in twenty. A report will sink to this level when multiple questions are not answered, and/or it is extremely messy or illegible.
1 is rare. Perhaps one in twenty will sink to this sorry level. This score is reserved for egregious violations of completeness, correctness, and neatness.
For notebooks: The ideas for reports, above, generally apply.
