Biology 215 - Plants for Pleasure and Profit is a 4 credit hour (3 lecture hours; 3 lab hours per week) course offered occasional Fall semesters and occasional summer sessions. Enrollment is limited to 24 students. Enrollment in Biology 215 has no prerequisites!
The course is designed to cover practical aspects of horticulture, including landscape design, installation and maintenance, gardening, growing indoor plants, and horticulture related businesses that started as family operations. The objective is to provide students with enough information about growing plants in and around the home, that growing plants becomes fun and relatively easy.
